The 2025 NDSA Digital Preservation Conference Is Happening Soon
September 2025
The National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) will host the 2025 Digital Preservation conference, or DigiPress, virtually on October 9–10. The conference program features peer-reviewed sessions on a wide range of issues related to digital preservation, including tracks on web archiving, inventory and infrastructure, community preservation organizations, challenges to digital preservation, and more.
This year’s theme, “Where We’re At: Digital Preservation in Uncertain Times,” invites the community to confront the challenges of sustaining digital preservation work amid instability and unpredictability. Participants and an international group of speakers will explore how practitioners are adapting, securing resources, managing emotional labor, and encouraging resilient communities in the face of ongoing upheaval. Meeting highlights include lightning talks, an informational session on NDSA’s organizational transition, reporting from NDSA working groups, and the NDSA Excellence Awards. The conference will be immediately preceded by a Software Preservation Network (SPN) pre-conference event on October 8.
Check the full meeting schedule for additional information on sessions and speakers, and visit the DigiPress registration page, hosted by NISO, to attend the conference, pre-conference, or both.
