Cristin Hipke Joins NISO as Standards Program Manager

The National Information Standards Organization (NISO) is pleased to announce that Cristin Hipke has joined the organization this month in the role of Standards Program Manager. Cristin will help to advance NISO’s mission of developing authoritative standards for the information community by leading volunteer working groups and committees and providing them with organizational, logistical, and promotional support. In her new position, she will work closely with her colleague and fellow Standards Program Manager, Keondra Bailey.

Cristin holds a degree in English from Western Michigan University and previously worked with ProQuest, part of Clarivate. Her tenure there was marked by her leadership in project management, effective stakeholder collaboration, successful process improvement initiatives, and commitment to professional development. With her strong background in project management and a passion for technology and information management, Cristin brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
