Scott Bernier, who joined EBSCO in 1996, is the Senior Vice President of Marketing for EBSCO Information Services. In this role, Scott oversees customer development, market research and marketing activity across all markets and product lines worldwide, as well as marketing initiatives for and with libraries to maximize usage of resources and awareness of library services. He acts as a primary liaison between EBSCO and its many focus groups and advisory boards, which help shape direction and creation of new resources and services. Scott represents EBSCO in various ways to enable dialog and facilitate interaction between EBSCO and the library community at large. He has lead discussions and participated on panels at library events such as the Charleston Conference, ALA MidWinter, ALA Annual, ACRL and SLA, as well as taking part as a member of the NISO Open Discovery Initiative (ODI) committee and the Discovery to Delivery (D2D) committee.
