Jason Hu is a respected voice and dynamic thought leader in academic publishing,
innovation, and research integrity. He currently serves as the Director of Research
Integrity at Taylor & Francis Publishing Group, leading strategic partnerships to
safeguard research integrity. With previous leadership roles at ORCID and Wiley,
Jason has deep insights into the global scholarly publishing landscape and has
driven innovative content strategies.
Jason has been serving as a Council Member of the Committee on Publication
Ethics (COPE) since 2016, helping shape ethical guidelines and discussions of
challenging cases. In parallel, he also serves as the Chair of Working Group 1 at
United2Act, Trustee of the Publishing Training Centre (UK), and Advisor to the
Publishing Journal.
He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and also has degrees in law and
engineering, a multifaceted background that fuels his forward-thinking approach.
