Andrew Wesolek currently serves as Clemson University’s first head of digital scholarship. In this role he launched and continues to develop a robust institutional repository, serves as the copyright officer for the library, partners with Clemson University Press to publish several Open Access journals, oversees the digitization of cultural heritage items from the Upstate of South Carolina, and manages several Open Education initiatives on campus. His research and professional interests focus on library support for new forms of scholarship, with an emphasis on “Open” initiatives and infrastructure. Wesolek also serves a founding co-editor of the Journal of Copyright in Education and Librarianship and as co-editor of the forthcoming book, Open Educational Resources: A Field Guide for Academic Librarians.
