Coalition for Networked Information Names Katie Zwaard Its New Executive Director

Zwaard has worked at Library of Congress, where she has played a pivotal role in driving digital strategy, since 2011. At CNI she will fill the position previously held by long-time executive director Clifford Lynch, who died unexpectedly in April 2025.

We look forward to welcoming Kate Zwaard as the next Executive Director of CNI, effective September 15, 2025. She will join CNI from the Library of Congress, where she presided over the Library’s digital transformation.
