Andrea Jacobs is Director of Data Analytics at CAS. She leads the team of data scientists tasked with creating artificial intelligence solutions to enable research workflows through CAS products and services. Her team is comprised mainly of dual-domain experts, who hold backgrounds in the sciences as well as data science and AI. In her 15-year tenure with CAS, she has held many scientific, technical and business roles spanning the organization’s end-to-end operations, including work with enterprise strategy and key initiative leadership; product development and strategy; partnerships and outbound content licensing; and content curation operations and underlying data management infrastructure. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from Wellesley College and a Master’s in Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
