University of Florida's Dean of University Libraries, Judith Russell, to Retire
University of Florida's Dean of University Libraries, Judith Russell, to Retire
February 2025
Of Interest to the Information Community
When Judith Russell relinquishes her role at the University of Florida, her engagement with the information community will be missed. Russell has consistently served the needs of the entire information community in both public and private sectors. Prior to joining the University of Florida in 2007, she had been a Managing Director at the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington D.C. While holding each of those roles, she had served as a member of the Board of Directors of NFAIS (prior to that organization being folded into NISO) and then on the Board of NISO itself.
