ORCID just released a new set of work types that promise to make ORCID records more usable for arts and humanities scholars! Their goal in introducing these was to both expand the types of research outputs that can be represented in ORCID records, while providing a better user experience (with better guidance!) for manual entry.

An ORCID blog post provides more in-depth information.
