With increased awareness and involvement from across the DOE complex and through conversations with other federal agencies, DOE developed the U.S. Government ORCID Consortium. The Consortium was created to provide a community of practice to share best practices, facilitate ORCID integrations, and identify and resolve issues, while decreasing costs and streamlining administrative processes and technical support.
