Huajin Wang is a Senior Librarian and co-director for the Open Science & Data Collaborations Program at Carnegie Mellon University Libraries. As a liaison librarian, she helps students and faculty in a wide range of disciplines with their information and data needs. As a director for the Open Science & Data Collaborations program, she leads innovative initiatives that help to create a culture change towards a more open and reproducible research landscape through tools, training, community building, and collaboration across disciplinary boundaries. Her current focus is on open science methodology and assessments and AI-readiness of research data including text data. Before joining the libraries, Huajin completed her PhD in Cell Biology at University of Alberta and postdoctoral research at Yale/Harvard, where she worked with complex, multimodal data in biomedicine.
