Wiley Announces New Partnership with AI Company Anthropic

Wiley has announced it will partner with Anthropic, adopting the AI company's Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard to integrate AI tools with its scholarly content. Users in the publisher's pilot program will be able to access Wiley content directly from Anthropic's LLM, Claude.

Wiley hopes its work with Anthropic will foster the responsible use of AI in research and create a model for others in the scholarly communications community to follow:
