Cindy Hohl, Director, Policy Analysis, and Operational Support, at the Kansas City Library delivered the opening keynote for the sixth annual NISO Plus Conference, held on-site in Baltimore, MD from February 10 - February 12.
From the very beginning of her talk, Hohl emphasized the significance in fostering "an environment of success and possibility for all people; where stories, data, and information are protected and preserved."
Furthermore, Hohl recognized how "We can all be advocates for the incorporation of Indigenous knowledge systems and research methodologies within contemporary library practice; because the library is for everyone."
