Gearing Up for the Fall
Research Methods and Tools: 2022 Assessment Training Series
This fall, the NISO Assessment Training Series, moderated by Martha Kyrillidou will launch in October and run with dates through December.
Over the past four years, NISO has organized a training series of webinars on assessment practices and metrics in the 21st Century. Building upon the foundational knowledge of the webinars previously offered, we are guiding cohort based discussions on research methods and tools libraries use to plan their services, collections, and operations. Beginning in October of 2022, this training series will provide an interactive and hands-on introduction to research methods and tools in a participatory cohort-based experience focused on improving assessment practices, projects, and tools in your own setting. Through this venue, we want to create a community of learning, with meaningful professional experiences and mentorships, sharing experiences, and getting to know each other better while supporting each other through this process.
Our goal is to introduce participants to research methods and tools so they can fully appreciate what they can do and offer locally at their own institutions.
A leader in the field of assessment, Martha Kyrillidou consults in management, evaluation, assessment and R&D activities. She helps libraries respond to customer needs through the development of user-focused services and culture that enhance the user-experience.
