Macgillivray Returns to White House OSTP Role

Todd Carpenter, Executive Director, NISO picked up this news of the return of Alexander Macgillivray to the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy. Macgillivray had previously served in the same role of deputy Chief Technology Officer under the Obama administration. He has also served in private sector roles as deputy general counsel at Google and general counsel at Twitter.
