CRediT Persona Workshops

Workshop 1: Thursday, September 29, 9.00-10.30am ET / 2.00-3.30pm BST

Workshop 2: Friday, September 30, 11.30am-1.00pm ET / 4.30-6.00pm BST

Each of these two virtual workshops consists of seven breakout sessions, led by experts on each role who will moderate the discussions. Workshop 1 focuses on the following roles: Funding acquisition, Investigation, Resources, Supervision, Validation, Writing - Original draft and Writing - Review & editing; Workshop 2 covers the remaining roles: Conceptualization, Data curation, Formal analysis, Methodology, Project administration, Software, and Visualization.

Registration is free, and both workshops will be held on the Zoom platform - please make sure you are using the latest version.

These workshops are open to everyone with an interest in CRediT, and will expand previous exploratory work on personas for the roles. Each workshop will explore seven of the 14 roles, in breakout sessions led by experts on each role, who will moderate the discussion.

Agenda:

  • 10 minutes: Welcome and overview, followed by breakout sessions
  • 30 minutes: Create draft of first persona
  • 10 minutes: Break (main Zoom room will be available for networking)
  • 30 minutes: Review draft and finalize persona
  • 5 minutes: Breakout sessions end, wrap up 

Please note that both workshops, including breakout sessions, will be recorded in order to compile a report about the event. Recordings will not be shared with third-parties nor will they be published in any format.
