• The majority of publishers are embracing a range of uses of GENAI
• Responsibility for the content stays with the authors
• Anything beyond basic support tool (grammar checks, etc.) has to be disclosed
• Peer review keeps on being conducted by humans

The slide was shown during a workshop at the December STM Association meeting in London. The STM Association has released a white paper on the topic of generative AI. The 15-page document is entitled Generative AI in Scholarly Communications.
